EDUCATION - MEDITATION FOR BEGINNERS

Topics include:

  • The purpose of meditation practice
  • Developing mental calm and concentration
  • Developing mindfulness
  • Visualisation techniques

This course is most suitable for beginners and those who may have some prior basic knowledge of meditation.

The Teacher
Wee Geok Hua learned meditation from both Mahayana and Theravadian teachers and has done retreats in India, Nepal, Australia and in Singapore. In the midst of the hustle-bustle of duties as a homemaker, a daughter, and a befriender at the hospice she has been able to incorporate meditation into her daily regime.
