Want to learn the lam-rim? Be guided through the graduated stages of the path to enlightenment in this course which will be conducted over a period of at least one year.

Using the popular lam-rim text by Pabongkha Rinpoche, Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand, you will be led step-by-step through the characteristics and practices of the persons of small, middling and great spiritual capacity. It shows the entire path – from the way one relies on a spiritual teacher, right up to the attainment of Buddhahood, which is the final fruit.

Taught by Ven. Tenzin Gyurme, this weekly class will offer a practical understanding of the lam-rim to beginners as well as those who have basic knowledge of Buddhism. All participants will need to have a copy of Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand for study and reference during the course. The book is available for purchase at our retail store Tashi Delek.

The Teacher
Venerable Tenzin Gyurme joined ABC in 1993, while he was still in National Service. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore. He was ordained by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 1999 and now serves ABC as its Spiritual Programme Coordinator and Tibetan language interpreter, having completed the two-year Lotsawa Rinchen Zangpo Tibetan Translator Program in Dharmsala, India in 2002.
