Join ABC 101, a half-day orientation designed to help you find out more about who we are and how you can develop your understanding and practice of Buddhism further through our spiritual programme and the facilities and services that we provide.

Led by: Ven. Tenzin Drachom

As Fred Cheong, Venerable Drachom was known for spearheading the Animal Liberation program at ABC. He served for 31 years in the Singapore Armed Forces in the Commando Formation and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.

He received his getsul vows in Dharamsala, India in September 2013 and his gelong vows from His Holiness the Dalai Lama in March 2017. Venerable has served in the ABC Executive Committee since 1995. He has completed the FPMT Basic Program. Presently, as an FPMT registered teacher, he has been tasked by Lama Zopa Rinpoche to offer Dharma teachings overseas.
